Where to Begin?

I'm 'Nett! I just snagged 5 acres in California's high desert. I'm putting together this website to share my journey with anyone who's interested. Plus, I'll be adding a storefront to maybe help fund the adventure.

The desire to own property has been in me for as long as I can remember. It is especially strong when looking at the bleak state of our reality of low wages, high costs.

Sometimes, I browse real estate websites to find properties I can buy outright. One day, I stumbled upon a property that really grabbed my attention. A month later, it was mine, although it came with a lot of risk.

I'm out here in the middle of the high desert, and I'm not sure if there's any groundwater around. But I've got this gut feeling that I'll be alright, no matter what. There's an unlivable structure on the property right now, and my main goal is to turn it into something livable.
